Why are we interviewed and referenced checked?
Daisycare Nanny Agency follows an stringent interview process to provide our clients with the most suitably qualified and experienced nannies, babysitters and wedding nannies. We are not a database of names like online websites we like to meet our Daisycare Babysitters and Nannies personally and we pride ourselves on the close and lengthy relationships we develop with all of our professional Carers.
Why do I need a car?
One of our policies is for all of our carers to have a current driver’s license and access to a car in order to get home of their own accord from a booking or to use in case of an emergency.
Am I employed by Daisycare Nanny Agency?
Daisycare Nanny Agency matches clients (parents) with suitable Daisycare Carers. We do not employ our Carers, we just undertake the relevant checks to ensure they are suitable to care for children and liaise between the parent and sitter regarding bookings and availability. The Daisycare Nannies and Babysitters essentially work for themselves.
How do I get Paid?
You will be paid at the end of each assignment in cash. For Wedding Services you will be required to provide a Timesheet for the Events and invoice Daisycare Nanny Agency for that time and payment will be made directly into your nominated bank account
What happens about Tax?
Daisycare Nanny Agency does not employ our carers, therefore all tax obligations and super obligations are to be fulfilled by the carer themselves. We suggest carers keep a record of all monies earned during the financial year and all invoices issued for Wedding and Event Care. Daisycare Nanny Agency can provide a statement detailing all sessions attended by an individual sitter for the financial year, but as some clients do not have a firm session end time when we take their booking, we are unable to guarantee that dollar amounts we have recorded for a sitter’s earnings will be accurate.
What is a Assignment Summary Form?
This form is sent to you when you have been booked for a Assignment. It has all the information you need about the Assignment including client names and contact details, expected start and finish times and how many children will be in your care and the routine of the night. Take a copy of the Assignment Summery to the assignment.
Why do we provide parents with an Assignment Evaluation?
An Assignment Evaluation provides parents with an evaluation of the night’s events and how the child/ren were and how their time was spent with the Daisycare Babysitter. This assists parents who have young children and provide information regarding their last feed and sleep times.
